"I've been on the fence for ages about getting an adjustable dumbbells set. Main reason, I wanted it to look and feel like an actual dumbell. No blocks and funny colors. They feel and look like a dumbell. Neither my body or my mind have to be retrained to accept it as a dumbell. Changing the weight is easy and the click is very audible and you feel it clearly in your hands.The handle has a good gnarling. There's no major rattling of the weights at lighter weights and definitely none at heavier weights.The cradle is well made despite being made of aluminum and plastic and it doesn't feel cheap.It can't be stated enough the advantage of having 5lbs change in weight compared to other brands with 10lbs."

"One of the packages was damaged during delivery and UPS trying to jam the plates back in the box broke one of the dumbbell cradles. Reported to seller with pictures and received a new cradle within 5 days. Thank you! As for the dumbbells themselves they are excellent quality just as others said you should show them respect and now slam or drop them but honestly that SHOULD be common sense with any mechanical item. Very pleased to add this to my home gym. Adjustability is quick and easy, grips and comfortable and doing lifts feels just like they do with the standard bells I use at LA Fitness."

"I'm still thrilled with it. I don't slam these on the ground so I don't expect too many failure points. But compared to the 1090's I had, the more compact dimensions are noticeably advantageous.The handle turn knob has not shown any signs of wear and tear after daily use.The locking system is still solid on the handle regardless of weight selection. I'm still glad I have these now and my friend smirks at me now knowing why I sold him the 1090's to upgrade to the Nuobells. "
